You are part project/team manager, part technology geek, part process fanatic. You even may dabble in code, languages or platforms. You know how to interact with Producers and Creative on the “agency” side and also related to and speak the language of Developers and Designers on the “production” side. You have a deep understanding of the “agency” creative process, are flexible, a great facilitator, fanatical about the details, and a people person. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a digital production facility. Working alongside the Executive Director, you will help establish workflows, processes, and best practices to maximize capacity, utilization and efficiency. While wearing these multiple hats, your primary focus will be on managing the Production staff and their daily challenges, issues and achievements. Primary Responsibilities: - Work with project owners to address project needs, schedules and resource allocations - Understand the interactive business - Manage the workflow, priorities and daily tasks of an interactive production team - Match the pipeline, capacity, and demands with available production talent - Identify and manage the gap between requirements and available capabilities - Manage and track resources in an appropriate tool - Partner with vendors to manage freelance capacity, including any necessary administrative work - Work with Quality Assurance to ensure deliverables meet standards - Provide input into the capacity planning process - Develop and achieve target utilization goals - Manage bench time - Participate in the local hiring process for all Production roles - Contribute feedback to the performance report process Experience Guidelines: - 3 to 5 years industry experience in ad agency or interactive shop in a staffing, pm, or operations role - Strong negotiation, communication, prioritization and time management skills - Driven self-starter with a proactive approach to serving professionals at all levels in a client-oriented, deadline-driven environment - Experience with digital project lifecycles from inception to final delivery - Possess the ability to work quickly and professionally handling multiple tasks at once - Solid team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow - Able to communicate comfortably across all levels of the organization - Innovative, easy-going and hard-working Education: Bachelor's degree required.
