Daniel Boran // CVDaniel Boran is a German based Art Director experienced in web, multimedia, print collateral, and corporate identity.He started with a 3 year apprenticeship as digital media designer for print and non print in Bayreuth / Germany. His education was honoured with the well known HSMA Marketing Award in 2001 for the „Pflaums Posthotel Pegnitz“ website PPP.com.Afterwards he moved to RIEGG & PARTNER intercorp. – the internet unit of the RIEGG & PARTNER agency mothership. He started as Junior Art Director lead by his mentor Dr. Fergus Wünschmann and worked for several clients in the Health & Wellness, Food, Computer, Lifestyle and Fashion industry in print as well as internet.In 2004 he worked his way up to Art Director Interactive and won the CHERRY (Computer Input Devices) pitch for internet & brand strategy together with Martin Burger (CD @ RIEGG). Afterwards Daniel was responsible for CHERRY’s European websites for Computer Input Devices, Automotive and Switches & Sensors industries. In his private time he designed and programmed the official CHERRY online store KEYBO.DE based on INTERSHOP.He also redesigned the image of 2NDSKY, a very well known brand in surf, skate and snowboarding based in one of the european hotspots Guethary, France. The new 2NDSKY brand website was honoured by several design portals and got a lot of amazing feedback from their clients, dealers and the scene.After 3 years at intercorp. Martin Pos, CEO of CYBEX, hired him as Creative Director for his young and international brand. CYBEX is a very dynamic startup company in the baby and nursery business. With it‘s head office in Hongkong, and offices in Kulmbach, Milano, Paris, Prague, Shanghai and Vienna, CYBEX demands to be one of the big players in the international market in the next years.As Creative Director Daniel was responsible for a clear, international and recognizable branding. In co-ordination with the CEO he was responsible for the concept & design of the entire marketing mix, e. g. campains, photoshoots, ads, websites, briefings, presentations, press releases which were delivered to 30 countries worldwide. He was also responsible to find the right members for his team, leading and teaching them and pushing them to their limits.Daniel works with special emphasis on aesthetics, creative ideas and communication goals, with a very high attention to details. Inspired by everything, everywhere, interested and enthusiastic, he is complete in love with visual creation. Known as efficient, he’s able to manage a creative crew and likes to have a global view on the projects he is working on.
